The project files are organized into folders for easier printing and navigation. For that reason, stl file preview is turned off.
This is a 3d printable custom blaster inspired by the DC-17 blaster from the animated series, so i've wanted to see how recreating such model in this animated style would look like as a 3d print.
Making only the blaster didn't feel good enough, so i added the grappling gun system to it thats kind of functional. I plan to add more stuff from the clone wars/bad batch, so let's call it a test run.
The blaster with the grappling gun included uses 3 5x10 mm magnets to attach the "hook" to surfaces, there is space for the rope inside, and the grappling hook can be added/removed with any 4mm pin/screws.
The "neck" of the grappler has tight tolerances so that should keep it in place once you return the hook back to the grappling gun system.
The files are made with extra care to attention and 3d printability in mind, so its a fairly simple print and assembly. Check out the photos to see what's included.
