2 MU Fix Point Bolt-Locked Insert - Rail

Rails allow you to slide-on accessories that have a negative Rail, like "Rail Multibins" or "Shelf Rail Sliders". This Rail is 2 Multiholes long.

This is a "Insert" Rail that can be attached to the Multiboard Snaps (Weight Bearing Snaps are recommended).

"Bolt-Lock" the Rail into place by screwing in a "Small Thread Fix Point" from the back of the Snap, this way the Rail won't slip out.

Printing Guidelines:

Use 3 perimeter wall thickness, 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, and no supports. Apart from that, use your printer's default settings.

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. Make sure the downloaded files are .STL. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.

These don't work very well with new flush snaps as there is a big gap between the multipoint screw and the rail. Are there updated versions of these?

I noticed the same when I was trying to follow along the Multipoint learning pack demo (see timestamp). They used a Raised Moderate Weight-Bearing Snap which offsets the rail more. I had to download it separately as it wasn't included in the learning pack I downloaded.

Locked multipoint uses this https://thangs.com/designer/Multiboard/3d-model/9%20mm%20Small%20Thread%2C%20Flat%20Head%2C%20T-Bolt-973894 to bolt lock it, try using it? There are different lengths of this one.

Here is the bolt that is long enough you need to screw this rail down and here is the snap to connect them

The Small Thread - Multipoint does not have enough thread length to achieve bolt lock on Raised Snap
