I guess I'm stupid but how does this thing work?

I printed this tool and none of it fit together following the standard multiboard settings...

IMO, the knob on this feels too small, especially when initially spinning to clean up threads.

While a small knob can be faster to spin, it also provides less mechanical advantage.

3-4x size for the knob with 6 knurled indents instead of 4 would likely feel a lot better and much closer to most screwdrivers.

Hah! I was using it backwards as an insert tool. take the knob off the thread, back the pusher out and stick a dual clip in the round hole halfway, push the pusher until it just engages the backside of the dual clip, then line the clip up with the hole you want to put it in, brace the pusher with your palm and push in until the clip seats - may have to push the pusher forward a little until the clip seats all the way.

This gives a way to grip and remove Dual Clips. When the outer shell isn't on the inner "pliers" looking bit, it can easily be put around one side of an inserted Dual Clip. When you put the outer shell on it holds the "pliers" in, locking the Dual Clip into the jaws. The tongue in the middle prevents the clip from slipping out.

It has ridges on the edge of the "pliers" bit that grip the shell. Use the screw-on tail bit to 100% prevent slipping if needed, and the clip should pull free.
