Data Storage Boxes
I teach technology to middle school students, and one of the most difficult things for them to understand is how each data size fits into the next. It's really their first foray into abstraction, so it makes sense.
Originally, I modeled this with cardboard boxes to great success. But after a few years, the boxes were in very bad shape. So I designed a 3D print that would be more effective. And it was. I printed a full classroom set - one for each of my 6 tables - and students were able to play with them as we went through the demonstration. The hands-on component made the lesson even more effective.
When I showed people on Reddit, they were equally interested. So now I'm offering it here!
Each box fits into the next, and it all fits into a box with a lid. This will keep your models nice and organized year after year, and you'll be able to use these in the classroom for years to come!
