Joel Telling from “3D Printing Nerd” complain about how his printed supports broke his speaker cover and left support marks. So, I created a model that would have a snug snap on cover with no supports. Thus, saving on print time, filament and no broken or marked parts.
Sophy Wong from “Sophy Wong Makes” said that she wanted to see a design that would speak for itself, enhance the speaker’s function and not hinder its function. so, I made sure that I left enough pockets in my design so that the sound from the speakers would be able to pass through without hindrance.
Just Blaze a Record Producer said that he wants to see innovation in the speakers designs. So, I decided to add the promotional branding of an artist to his own speakers. So, in this case the artist being Joel Telling has his channel logo on the speaker design with a 3D element to it. In the music industry the speakers could include the artists name, year and the name of the tour that his on.
With all the above mentioned I have also included a print file that would require supports if anyone chooses to go that route. The design is pretty much the same but with a few minor differences in measurements.
