This sci-fi inspired lockbox is a compact storage container designed to keep your small items secure with a satisfying mechanical twist. Its clean, futuristic exterior makes it feel like a prop straight out of a space station, while still being fully practical for everyday use.

Instead of a traditional lid, the box features a dual-lever locking system. The top only opens when both levers are pulled together at the same time, releasing the internal locking mechanism. It’s simple, intuitive, and gives a very tactile, mechanical feel every time you open it.

This design is also part of a personal challenge I’m doing for the year 2026: designing and releasing a brand new 3D printable model every single day for an entire year.
