This biathlon-themed key stand turns a simple daily habit into a small interactive moment. Inspired by real biathlon targets, the stand features a reactive target mechanism that changes color when keys are placed on the hook. The design works as both a practical key holder and a playful desk or entryway accessory that makes organizing keys more satisfying.

The idea behind this design was to make a key stand that gives immediate visual feedback instead of just holding keys passively. By linking the weight of the keys to a simple mechanical target flip, the act of hanging your keys feels more intentional and rewarding—similar to hitting a target in a biathlon. The structure is designed to be reliable, easy to 3D print, and durable enough for everyday use.

This design is also part of a personal challenge I’m doing for the year 2026: designing and releasing a brand new 3D printable model every single day for an entire year.
