Description

Add some greenery to your bookshelf with these propagation station bookends! These hold a 5.9" x .8" test tube, perfect for propagating plant cuttings. The print in two parts, the bookend and the propagation holder. The propagation holder pressure fits into the bookend, but I'd recommend gluing it in to be safe.

Supports None needed!

Scaling I wouldn't recommend scaling this one since it perfectly fits the test tubes.

Orientation The bookend prints upright, and the propagation holder can be printed flat with either side on the build plate. I chose to print it upside down because I think the textured surface from the build plate looks nice.

Print Settings

.2mm layer height
15% grid infill
2 walls
Variable layer height: Quality/speed - .1, Radius - 9

Filament & Hardware

Filament: Bambu Lab Matte Light Brown PLA

It would be great to specify the size of your models in the description. I had to buy the membership only to find out that I can't print this on my A1 Mini. Other than that it's a lovely design.

Could there be a way to mount these to a wall? Or even other shelf type models.

For sure! We can make a version of this one that attached to a wall. Also working on a bunch of tabletop ones!
