Can anyone clarify how the light fixture is meant to affix to this print? Even the recommended Cord Kit (which is no longer available, btw) lacks any way to secure itself to the base. I purchased a similar cord kit but at best, the cord kit simply rests on top of the base. A small breeze could still knock over the shade.
One possible solution is a 3d printed threaded ring which, when used with the provided ring for attaching the shade support, would securely compress the structure together.
Hello,
Has anyone printed this recently? I printed one back in '23 for my daughter, and she loved it. I went to print another but found the pendant lights from back then are no longer sold. I purchased a Frideco light kit, but it's a tad too wide to fit up the inside of the lamp. I wonder what/if others are using.
Best
Bruce
I have full access, but I can't download the STL file for the Cleo Lamp.
I can download the STEP file, but I don't know what that is.
I can download others designs.
Thank You
I can't download any models since you are on thangs hendricks I don't know if it's my problem but it won't let me download any of your models and I'm paying a subscription
Hi,
I printed the shade from the "vase mode shade.3mf" without thinking about it...turns out, that the generic cylinder isn't there, so I wouldn't know how to actually attach the shade to the base now?!
Also ... can you please provide the vertical shade design with supports attached like the main "CleoLampShade.stil" file? The only one I see with that design is "VaseModeShade2.stl". Thanks!
The lamp kit you linked above will take a week+ to arrive. Is it a standard size for these types of kits ... in other words, do you know if other kits will fit inside the base? Thanks.

How did you do the designs that show through? Did you add the shapes and text as mirrored extrusions on the inside of the lamp shade?
Yup! With PrusaSlicer SVG emboss. One way is a deboss (design shows up lighter), the other was a proper emboss, both initiated from the inside.

Love this! As a father of two little ones, Blippi is a huge part of my life right now lol.
He seems like a fun dude. :D

Do you have updated versions of these to fit the new pendant lights?
May I have the dimensions of the lamp shade?

How much filament does the base & shade take?
For me the base was 379 grams. Shade was 44 grams.
Wow, it looks amazing! Great design!
Great design I loved it so much!
