Light Stand Caster Add-on

As the title suggests, this is designed to add basic hardware store casters to any tripod or light stand. Should work on boom stands, C-stands, or any other photography based hardware. )

I would suggest printing this with a very dense TPU, as my experience with ABS was that there was too much torque applied, resulting in a lot of force on the layer adhesion.

I used these for 3 years before acquiring actual Manfrotto casters. Honestly i don't see any functional difference.

NOTE: If you're not used to using rolling light stands, PLEASE WEIGH YOUR STAND DOWN. I use standard sand bags, but anything to bring the centre of gravity down is good.

Don't blame me if you tip your $2,000 strobe light over onto concrete!
