Dragonfly for Painting is a print in place, no supports design collection which will allow downloader to print dragonfly models of different sizes to be painted with creator's original and creative designs. Possibly use an educational art project, for decorating plant pots, windows etc. The design is related to another one of my models: Meganeura Dragonfly

Included are .STL, .3MF and .STEP format files for all parts in 3 configuration choices:

1. Full size articulating model with latching knee joints. (approx 8 hours print time @ 0.16mm layer height). This model is not scalable.

2. Small size articulating model (113 x 125 mm print footprint) version, the knees, hips and body segments are still articulated, but the legs do not latch into position; it will stand on its own, however the joints may need to be glued for stability. (2 hours print time @ 0.08mm layer height). This model is scalable.

3. A static/fixed pose model where the body is a single object with the wings printing separately. This model is scalable.

I used 0.16mm layer height for the full size print, and 0.8mm layer height for smaller size print. For the wings I used 0.2mm layer height in both cases.
