This is a bardic inspiration dice holder that grows with the bard. The shape will hold one d6, d8, d10, or d12 dice. This design came about after seeing a similar design with a layered wood dice holder. I have to say, I like the layered wood holder, but my DM moved to another country, so I'd rather make my own.
This design was influenced by a layered wood dice holder someone had at a table I played at. Additionally, Maker's Muse video titled Intriguing Objects of Intersection played a large role in figuring out how to make this work. Can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-cNofvv8nk
The cavity is formed from the intersection of d6, d8, d10, and d12 dice, aligned in such a way that one single shape is created. A boolean subtraction of the shape was then made from the lute.
