The labels are not standard on grifinity since it is set up where some are obstructed. But since this is made for swapping around I thought having these labels on the ones not in use may be a good idea.

These gridfinity pieces hold every kind of test tube or centrifuge tube found in my lab, using them as a modular tube rack I have optimised work flow in the lab to an insane degree.  Please anyone who does lab work take these and give them a try its probably the most practical thing I have ever made.

A set of hooks that will hold a small pair of scissors on your gridfinity (perfectly measured to a pair of safety scissors Ii got at staples, see image) Hooks can be hard to print, I laid them down and did a little bit of supports on the hook end.  Base prints like any gridfinity base would.

What to print

How to assemble

1 take the main body and position your phone so that the light aligns with the pin hole
2 secure the phone holder so that it covers the phone but you can still insert and remove the phone when needed ( I used super glue and baking soda so I could get my phone back faster
3 secure the feet to the main body (I used 2 part epoxy because I IDK I just have it on hand) and the feet to a base of some kind (I use flooring tiles because they are 50 cents at lows and nicely weighted)
4 The photo resistor gets secured in the hole in the cover
5 follow the diagram on tinker cad for the electronics, make sure to have long wires on the photo resistor allowing the cover to still go into place https://www.tinkercad.com/things/inKaZFWLrGx-spectromemter

How to use
1 align your phone so the flashlight shines through the pinhole then secure it with the screws (don't damage your screen)
2 cut the necessary filter to fit inside the cover
3 while the blanking wire/switch is open place a blank in the spectrometer close the cover making sure it slides into the reassess in the main body and then close the wire 
4 remove the blank and place sample in the same way 
5 press the button, your absorbance will be calculated for you and displayed

INTRO
This is a rocker I designed for my lab.  Anyone who has worked in a a biology lab has used on of these to keep a sample from settling, develop a blot, or stain a gel, but the lab I'm in now didn't have one (everything was placed on the same shaker we grew cultures on, or even tapped to the legs of a shaking incubator).  When I asked why we didn't I never got a good answer until I looked up the price of for one, and basically I got personally offended by what I saw. 

SUPPLIES  This is a full list of everything I used to make my rocker, brands are most likely irrelevant but if you choose a different motor you may need to resize the hole in the middle of the wheel, and the seat in the motor base to fit. 

Besides an FDM printer you will need 

Some sturdy filament (I used PETg, PLA + was just too soft)

A motor (Greartisan DC 12V 100RPM )

A pulse wave modulator or a potentiometer (Greartisan 1.8V-15V 2A DC Motor Speed Controller PWM) to control the motor speed

A way to power said motor and controller (inShareplus 12V LED Strip Power Supply 2A 24W, Wall Mounted 12V Switching Power Supply)

Two zip ties

2 M3 screws and nuts

Glue/adhesive of your choice (I used 2 part epoxy for everything, why? because I had it and had lost my super glue)

ASSEMBLY 

Print 1 copy of the RoCker plate and 2 copies of the RoCker Edge. Attach the edges to the rocker on the top along the flat sides using glue of your choice (I used super glue)

Print 2 RoCker Legs the pegs on the legs go in the holes on the rocker. This may take some sanding or filing depending on your tolerances, I have made them the exact same size in the STL files using one as the negative to create the other. 

Print the RoCker Motor Base this was intended to use zip ties to attach to the motor. However I found that the motor still moved and I instead attached the rocker and motor with 2 part epoxy.  I left the wholes for the zip ties in the model, A : since it uses less material with holes in it B: the zip ties hold the motor while the epoxy cures very nicely C: because if your zip tie game is better than mine you may still be able to use them. 

Print the RoCker wheel and attach it to the motor. The suggested motor has a D shaped drive shaft however I still chose to use a 2 part epoxy to secure the drive shaft to the wheel.  This may be unnecessary depending on your choice of filament but if you do do it this should be more than sufficient to hold everything together. 

Print the RoCker Driver.  This has 2 holes do not worry both sides are symmetrical. One side screws into wheel via a M3 screw, the other screws into the small appendage on the plate in the same manner. 

With the legs in the holes of the plate and the motor, motor base, and wheel assembled and screwed to the plate the bottoms of the legs and the bottom of the motor base should all be level. 

Secure the bottoms of the legs and bottom of the motor base to a flat hard surface. I purchased a bathroom tile from Lowes, but anything hard heavy and flat will do.  If you are sure you never want to get rid of it it could even be attached to a table. 

Wire the motor, control unit, and power supply and let it rip. Congrats you just saved several hundred dollars go tell your PI.

Its the keychain cap for Vandelayandco's utility knife but the nubs are triangles so that it will pop on easier and be harder to pop off.

Its just a magnet on a stick that I use to get my stir bars back from bottles. These sell for 10$ online so if you don't have a spool of TPU around to use this may not be the most effective option, but if you do this project is very simple

When slicing the stir bar retriever program a pause just before the pocket for the magnet has been completed.

The magnet is now sealed inside and your retriever is safe to stick into (many, please use reason) chemical filled bottles and get your stir bars out.

Made these hooks to be used in sets of 2 (one up one down) and have things like leather or wire wound around them. The hole takes a size 8 screw that I used to attach them to my workshop shelf.

After hanging my drills I made a new attachment for the same base plate that holds my DeWalt router

Same specs as the drill holder, the baseplate has holes for 5/16" bolts and the V2 baseplate has the holes for the threaded inserts already marked out on it, that didn't relay make it easier for me but it didn't make it harder so yall get both versions pic your favorite. 
 The holder is made to take an M4 machine screw and attach it to the base plate once you have the inserts into that. this one holds a DeWalt router just fine its rounder than the others and the opening is 78mm.

Made to hold my DeWalt 20 V drill and impact wrench.  The holder has slots for an M4 screw and I used threaded inserts to attach it to the baseplte. The base plate has holes for 5/16th bolts used to attach the plat to my work shelf, Baseplate V2 also has the holes for the threaded inserts replaced, not sure this helped any when I used it so I left both versions up. All of these are just because they are what I had available, I'm not sure if larger or smaller parts would be better and I'm sure you could customize to fit your needs or even print it as is and drill out new holes. Since IDK why anyone without a drill would make this.
