It consists of two pieces. The dock and the lid.

 

Your original Nintendo switch and dock drop perfectly into a slot at the back of the new upgraded dock. **(Only tested with OLED version, but it should work with the original as well; it just might not be a perfect fit.)**

 

Then there is a compartment at the front of the new upgraded dock that holds two extra joycons, four joycon straps, and up to six game cartridges.

 

All the accessories have perfect cutouts, so everything slides right into place and doesn't move.

The lid is also magnetic, so it stays in place as well.

 

Their are three versions (As seem in my YouTube video), cut panels, full panels and wide panels. The full panel version is free to download and if you would like to pick up the other designs or just support my work, you can download them on thangs.

 

**PRINT SETTINGS:**

 

These are very straightforward prints.

 

The dock and the lid have spots to embed magnets.  **I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING A DROP OF SUPER GLUE WHEN INSTALLING THE MAGNETS, SO THEY DON'T POP OUT WHEN THE PRINT HEAD GOES OVER THEM.**
 

You will need 4, 6 by 3mm Neodymium Magnets. These are the magnets I use if you are interested:

Modern OLED Nintendo Switch Dock (Organizer) - Full Panels

Nintendo Switch Dock Panels .3mf

Just like the other two business card holders, I thought this would look cool on a desk as well. (Hopefully its not just me who likes it lol).

Its extremely easy to print and it's just one piece. It holds the cards up at about a 60 degree angle with a max capacity of about 15 cards.

Its more of a form-over function piece, but it still works well. (Just be careful when pulling cards out because it can tip over.)

Modern Minimalist Business Card Holder

 It is shaped like a rose, and it fits in the palm of your hand. It's print in place and has holes for magnets to keep it securely closed. It also has a cut-out for a ring on the inside, and the neat part is that it will fit a wide variety of ring sizes without them falling out.

 The ring will stay in place because of a separate spring that pushes against the ring to keep it from moving around. -This spring is printed separately and needs to be inserted mid-print (I've included a stop for it in the 3MF file, along with stops for the magnets). *see photo for more details

Rose Ring Box

❤️  Set the mood with your significant other with this heart-shaped wine holder. The wine holder comes in a smooth, flat design and a rose-patterned design.

There are four files, two are for 75mm bottles, which is a common small wine bottle size and the other two files are for bottles ranging from 75mm to 90mm (if your wine bottles vary in size or if you buy champagne, then I would print the larger version). The twisted heart rings are a tabletop decorative piece, but they are kind of fun to play with too. 

**Print Settings**
The flat wine bottle holder design prints best upright, and the rose design needs to be printed on its side.

💣 This one will definitely be a fan favorite with kids and adults! I wanted to create a grenade toy that exploded when it hit something. After a lot of thought, I decided to design it using magnets (16 in total).

I first created the grenade, and then I broke it into pieces like a puzzle. After that, I added the holes for the magnets, and now we have a functioning toy grenade!  It is quite fun to use, and I'm excited for you to try it out! Keep in mind that it's very easy to lose the pieces because they go flying everywhere, but its worth it lol.

I made five files that make up the grenade. The bottom section, middle piece, top section, handle, and pin.

I didn't put all of them on the same build plate to make keeping track of the magnets direction (polarity) easier. 

**Print Setting:**
- **I highly reccomend using super glue when installing the magnets. (To prevent them from flying out and sticking to the print head)**

I recommend printing the bottom pieces first, then moving to the middle piece, then the top pieces, followed by the handle and the pin. I will have 3MF files for each piece with all the settings I used to print them (including the stops needed to embed the magnets into the print. **(Double check this before printing)**



I recommend 30% infill or less. If you do more infill, the magnets might not be strong enough to stick to each other.

When your friends visit, they'll be impressed with this coaster 😀.

Shaped like a beautiful flower, with links between each petal. This flower coaster can bend and flex a bit, making it a unique table piece. It's print in place and is big enough to hold most cup and cans.

The goal of this design was to make an aesthetically pleasing crocodile clip that was print in place and also functional, which I believe was achieved 😎. The clip is mainly just for amusement but may have some practical applications.

I've always been fascinated by sound, music, and frequency. So making a phone sound amplifier was high on my list of things to do. After many prototypes, I came up with a design that works fantastic and is hopefully easy to print. 

Shaped after a spiral shell, this little speaker will seriously boost the volume of your phone speaker! Not to mention, it doesn't require any electricity. It would be a great item to bring with you on a camping trip. 

I designed it to be wide enough to fit most phones, with generous space from side to side. The cutout in the shell is also big enough to capture the sound from most phone speakers. So fitment shouldn't be a problem for most people, and I can always make variations if I receive feedback that it's not the right size.

This is a fun item to print and show friends when they come over! Try it out, and let me know what you think!

Scalability

Can be scaled up and down a bit. Be careful when scaling down, because your phone might not fit in the holder.

Supports Needed?

Yes, on the build-plate only.

** If your printer does not have good cooling, I recommend painting supports underneath the large opening where the sound comes out. A few strands of filament can sag down if you don't add supports.

- I will include a 3ML file with all the proper settings so you can easily print. 

** If you have a machine like the X1C, you should be able to print this with only supports on the build plate. 

Further Printing Notes: 

If you are having trouble with the bottom rounded portion of the print, try using  variable layer height to smooth out the print.
