This is a remix of Maquina's vernier caliper used as a base and just had to make some parts smaller to make it fit.

This is an alternative shell/scales for my 3d printable foldable multi-tool. You can download the spring and tool-heads to make your own here:

This version holds a single tool head and features a grip-shaped design for enhanced ergonomics and ease of handling.

**Assembly Instructions**

The assembly process is straightforward: simply print the parts, snap the interior pieces together, and close the shell. It’s secure as is, but for added confidence, you can apply a small dab of superglue at the shell’s contact points.

FoldX - Foldable multi-tool - Grip Shell

This is an ergonomic utility blade holder modeled to fit a standard Stanley blade. It does not need screws as the head of the holder has a small latch that bends down allowing to slide in the blades. Light duty use only.

Prints in 3 pieces as pictured and snaps together by contact, you can put a tad of glue in the holder to secure everything in place. No supports needed. Make sure you have a good first layer so that the blade holder latch does not fuse. My slicer makes a 0.5 width first layer by default so i changed it to 0.42 and the clearence is perfect.  Use extra walls and  over 25% infill to have a firm piece.

Update: Added 2 sheath options; lid only cover & belt clip holster;

FOLDX - Foldable Multi-Tool -  Basic Kit 
 No Screws, No Supports.

I first designed this as a foldable utility blade holder with inspiration from the classic Swiss knife folding mechanism.  I then created other tool head options using the same body.

A fun holder inspired by Victorinox's iconic foldable knives, perfect for phones, tablets, cards, and more! I designed this for my dad, who has an incredible collection and is obsessed with these knives.

Features:

Comes in 4 Parts: The set includes a body, two sides, and a logo. The sides snap into the body, and the logo snaps into the front.

Full assembled model in 1 file also included.

Easy Assembly: No additional tools required; everything snaps together.


3D PRINTING SETTINGS
Files are oriented to print without supports.
The "cork remover" helix part needs lots of part cooling to print successfully without supports so crank the fan to 100% and if your printer has an auxiliary fan go for it!
0.02 layer height, 20% infill,
This was printed and tested in a Creality K1 printer.
