This was my first 3D printing file I've ever created. I designed it on Tinkercad ready for printing.
Sentiero, translating to 'Path' in Italian, is a saber designed to be agile and strong while providing a comfortable grip and visually appealing design.
The saber includes features from iconic lightsaber hilts including the distinctive concave shape of Obi Wan Kenobi's lightsaber, along with Darth Vader's protruding grip and the ability to wield the lightsaber as a saberstaff, like Darth Maul, or as duel blades, like Ahsoka Tano.
Unlike Obi Wan's saber, the hilt is designed to be more solid instead of having the one cylindrical tube leading up to the emitter. The saber is also designed to have a comfortable, clean grip with many indents assisting in traction. Unlike Vader's saber, any protruding objects are in more convenient locations as to limit discomfort while wielding. In addition with these features, the emitter includes 8 long holes to allow light from the blade to come through when turned on, giving the saber an exotic look. Also indented on the pommels is the name 'Joker' as a personal preference with my liking to the iconic prince of crime.
The saber is hollow, allowing for installation of electronics and is also conveniently split into 7 ISO metric threading parts.
2 hilts 2 emitters 2 pommels (for single or dual wielding) 1 coupler (for a saberstaff)
