The Melody Mate's design includes two strategically placed cavities that are specifically designed to hold 5mmx2mm magnets.( https://amzn.to/3tNMeIL ) To add magnets to your printed Melody Mate, simply initiate a filament colour change in your printer slicer on the layer above the cavities. When the printer pauses, place the magnets in the holes, ensuring that they will attract each other once fully printed. Please note that some printers may vary in quality and the magnets may not fit perfectly. If this is the case, you can try using a lighter or soldering iron to heat up the magnet and press it in place. Alternatively, you can increase the radius of the magnet cavity by 0.1mm to ensure a better fit.
