This is a custom accessory for the Matthews MICROGrip system - a table-top photography grip system for shooting miniature objects.

Small platform insert for a 1/4-20 (interior) threaded rod. I use this as part of a photography rig for shooting small decorative metal artworks that need to be supported from underneath. While this part is not threaded, the tolerance is perfect for a pressure fit, and accepting threads can tap just enough without causing layer failure when printing with *PLA.

*Check your print tolerances! Test fit to make sure you don't snap off the part inside your threaded rod! If you do, you'll need to drill it out.
