Leopard 2 is a German made 3rd generation main battle tank. Developed in the 1970s, the tank was incorporated into the German army in 1979 and was replaced by Leopard (now known as Leopard 1) tanks. Its different variations are used by the German army. In addition, many EU countries other than England and France prefer this tank as well as action in Syria against the Turkish Armed Forces and ISIS and YPG.
