I have made this to help one handed disabled person in their day to day life. They dont have comfort and support of their other hand so they can't cut a pouch or something using scissors. I have seen one of my close relative, struggling, even for a small thing of cutting a milk pouch everyday. So I made this. Now I don't have a 3d printer to test. But hope I would help someone.

Melting Cube… a different type of opening gift box. It is a modified dove tail puzzle which I developed 2 years back. I redesigned it for 3d printing and has space to keep inside. Keep things small so that it doesn't interfere the opening mechanism. Well it can be a gift on its own:)

Melting Cube #Gift Box and Puzzle Box

This is a mechanical gift box. It has a rack&pinion locking mechanism. Then lace above has a spur gear beneath and there are slots for Rack in the Lid. On rotating the lace the racks will slide into the box rim and won't allow opening.

CHALLENGE: As a student attending online lectures from my own desk is good. But I loose my pen very often. Its because pen rolls and goes under the table mostly. This way I have to bend for the pen many times during a class.
SOLUTION: To solve the particular problem, I made a pen stand integrated with my phone stand. It has pen hole plus a small tray for eraser.
