I have officially remodeled the love ball to to be easier to print and have a cleaner overall look. Got rid of the squiggles and used hearts instead, updated the hinge design, and now requires less supports to print! I have also included files without the big heart on the front if you would like a cleaner looking ball! I meant to have this redesign out sooner but things didn't work out at first.
All files print best scaled to 125%
I printed everything with a 10% infill except for the hinge assembly that I printed at 20% infill.
Assembly is required by using a plastic adhesive, for this I used Weld On - 16 or PLA 3D Gloop, but any similar adhesive will do fine. There are small slots in the middle ring that allow for the hinge to be glued in and stay in place.
The hinge has a very small tolerance, you may have to twist is loose just a tad. Ive found that if you split the hinge into objects and print each one with some small supports you may have better success.
