It is again the time to throw the heaters on, also the time to bleed the heaters. I have already printed something similar some years ago but unfortunately no longer found therefore I have tinkered a new one.

No support needed, just part cooling.

Halloween is just around the corner, so it's time to wake the dead again. 
This skull not only has glowing eyes, but also sprays the fine water mist from his eyes. This effect looks very cool, but is unfortunately poorly captured on the videos and photos. For sure this will impress your visitors on any halloween party ;) 

The printing is simple. The skull is designed and aligned in such a way that it only requires a minimum of support structure. The eyes should be printed with transparent material.

All you need for the electronics are 2 LEDs with resistors and a mini fogger. You don't have to screw anything in the picture, you can see everything in the picture. But i will add more features and further instructions very soon.

optical illusion - a tracking skull

"murray" looks like following you with his eyes and head. See in the Animation bellow (it takes some seconds to load). The whole thing is a pretty simple principle but looks impressive. The skull can be fixed on the wall like a picture or be placed somewhere on a Desk. 
I made also a stand with the possibility to illuminate the skull directly by a LED, this amplifies the effect immensely.

Scale both models to the desired size and print easily (printing the skull upright will probably give the better results)

I was looking for led panels to print myself and found the great hexapanels from Bigjim36 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4742593). However, as i was slicing them, I noticed that the housing seemed kinda unstable without the windows and did not offer any mounting options. I ended up completely redesigning the panels and added some new ideas like the outline design or the minishelf.
 
You can scale the panels up if you want, but not down (100% are 14,24 cm in all dimensions).
This will probably look better, and you can install the LED stripes with no effort, that's what i will do next time i print it again, would go for 120%.

ModulIX-O is a tiny but solid and complete screw less Drill-press.
I was looking for a smart solution to make precise holes in small parts. So I decided to do this one. I wanted a solution that don't need to use screws or any other shopping parts.
I use an IXO and a Dremel, so one of my goals was that it should fit both ^^ 
It is completely modular, to be flexible for new devices too. A vice will be added soon.

All you need is a good calibrated Printer and maybe 3 compression springs.

This is a small but sophisticated heat tower, it can be printed quickly without using a lot of material. 

Setting:
at 0.2mm you have to set every 80 Layers a new temperature, like..:

Layer     1 - 230 ° c
Layer   80 - 215 ° c
Layer 160 - 200 ° c
Layer 240 - 185 ° c

This is an easy to mount and fast to Print Spool holder.

I was looking for an easy to install spoolholder that doesn't harm the filament transport and fits any kind of Spools (for example: Small FlexiSmart spools- Picture 4)
The result was that i maked this one. Its stable, clean and fast to Print.

- Fast2Print (0.3mm - 25% infill -3 cells) = 55min
- 2 diffrent axis length to match the spool wide.

Feature Addons:
- Filamentguide support (i recommend it)
- Flexible spacer to fit any spoolwide 
- Stackable, 3 Holder = 2 Spools,..
- Ball-bearing axis ! 

The Bearings are also easy to print and they works directly after printing :).
Print the bearings with 100% infill (you need two for one axis) without support and (if possible) without raft.

CTC - Side SpoolHolder - with some features.

I was annoyed to open the integrated trashcan manually in my Ikea kitchen. This tiny 3Dprint put an end to this. You can simply print the "standard version" twice and fasten it with a small rope, just be careful to choose the right length of the rope.
You can fix it with screws or glue. 

However, the Standard only version has the disadvantage that the lid has to be removed when emptying the trashcan. So there are two other parts for this. Here you need two small cylinder magnets 4x5mm. Its easy to remove and also easy to fix again. You can combine both (this is what i did).

I couldn't find anything like that on Thingiverse, but i thought it would be nice if you didn't have to take off the shield when you don't need it or just want to have a drink. For this reason i made a stackable faceshield that can be clipped to the back without increasing the printing time too much.

Simple dampers for the Artillery Sidewinder X1, they fit over the original "dampers".

I think X2 and Genius use the same size, so it should probably fit.






Artillery Sidewinder - Damper / Feet

This is a fast to print, stable and lightwight axis for spoolholders with ball-bearings (like Artillery Sidewinder X1 Sh). 

Unlike most of the other spoolholder axes here on Thingiverse, this can be printed without much material and also very quickly (approx. 1h). The stability is way more than sufficient for the purpose and can easily carry several kilograms. It prevents also addig to much weight on the top of the printer which can cause printig quality issues. 

This axis was designed to complement the original Sidewinder X1 spoolholder. 
Certainly this can also be used for other printers/spoolholders because the ball bearings should be mostly the same size (14mm).

Versions:
V1 : The Ball-bearings hardly fits i recomend V2
V2 : The Ball bearings now fits more easily.

Mask-Clip:
Strong but Simple and fast to Print buckles for all kinds of straps or rubber bands. 
Just scale to the desired size and in any case print with sufficient support.

Clip V3:
An evolution from the first one, its better scaleable and more optimised, printable without support. Its possible that you need to bend the front apart after printing. 

Use a raft if u have stickyness problems.

A motorized turntable for various applications, like 360° videos,… super easy to assemble (only 3 parts) and perfect for a first small electronics project. .

After uploading a small washing machine, I realized that I didn't have any good photos or videos of it in its finished state. So I tried to take some photos and, being a pragmatic person, I built a small turntable to take 360° videos. I still had the parts from the mini washing machine ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6147167 ), so this turntable uses the same parts. (If you buy them for this rotary plate, you can use them also for the washing machine and vice versa).

The platter works quite well, but is certainly not perfect yet, so there is a chance that I will tweak it here and there.

Just a very simple Spoolholder upgrade for the Arillery Sidewinder X1, it works for tiny spools like 200-500g Spools. The material should be a stronger one to be sure, i use PLA+ and it works very well so far.

Don't waste your last meters of Filament, print your very own cable ties :) . This thing was created for the last meter contest on Printables. The cable ties are surprisingly stable and also flexible enough when printed with PLA, but you should switch to PETG or TPU if you want to put heavier load on them. The last meter is enough for exactly 3 pieces.
