Magnetic Mushrooms Pack II - Beginner I designed a pack of 3 Magnetic Mushrooms in the past, and I think this new pack is even better! The original pack was meant to be fidgets, but I found them to actually be really useful magnets for use around the house. See original pack here: Magnetic Mushrooms pack 1
This Pack includes the Chantarelle, Fly Agaric, and the Wrinkled Peach.
But how do they work? The Mushroom caps and stems each have a strong magnet inside. This allows you to fidget with the caps in satisfying ways. They also make great fridge magnets, and (if you're lucky) will also stick to the corner of walls!
You can magnetize them onto anything metal. And since they are magnetic to each other, you can also mix and match the stems.
Quick and Easy Printing This print is super fast, and super easy. Nothing takes more than a few hours to print. And they use up very little filament. Print using a multi-color printer for best results.

I noticed that on the Agaric you have it upside down when it prints and there are only 2 finishing layers on top of the magnet, and the Wrinkled Peach stem has only 1 layer on the very top, which means the magnet shines thru and you don't get good coverage. The Chanterelle has 3 layers on top tho, and that provides good coverage and nothing shines thru. Would it be possible for you to modify at least the WP stem, if not also the FA stem bottom, so that there are 3 layers on top of the magnet?

I'm having the same issue as well.
Has there been any update made? I noticed the same issue where a couple of the stems only had the two top layers, and it leaves a less than desirable surface.
Any chance you could make a shorter base for the Fly Agaric that only uses one magnet? These big magnets are pretty pricy.
It would not look as natural with a smaller stem. It would also make the mushroom too top-heavy.
Would be nice when these magnets would be sold in Europe (the Netherlands) to. Search everywhere but could not find any. š«¤
I know! I'm sorry you're not able to get the magnets for these. I'll be keeping my eye out for if they start selling them in Europe soon.

Would it be possible to have a version that required smaller magnets for a fidget? Such as 10mm x 3mm magnets?
Thank you!! to answer your question: When designing this I tested a bunch of magnet sizes. The smaller ones weren't strong enough so they weren't as fun to fidget with, and also weren't as functional. Which is why I went with this size magnet
LOVE how these magnets are embedded. Could you update mushroom pack 1 to also have embedded magnets, because the magnets in pack 1 have ripped out half a dozen times. Thanks! :) (I'd be VERY interested in a mushroom pack III btw š)
@ForgeCore, could you separate the parts of the Fly Agaric stem and gills so they can be printed separately? I had a couple of the stems pop off the my plate when adding the magnets and would like to avoid reprinting the gills if possible. Thanks!
You may be able to use the "cut" tool in bambu studio to seperate them where you need them but it is designed to be one part for strength.
I'm obsessed with mushrooms, so I had to get this pack asap. I went so quick that I forgot to check the magnet size, and was then very disappointed to learn that those magnets are not sold anywhere in Europe (or Germany). I'd love to print this, but aside from being pretty they'll not serve any other function for me without those magnets, which again are impossible to get. It would be amazing if there would be a version with other magnet sizes available as well. Thank you for your great work^_^
That is very disappointing, I wish you we're able to get the right magnets for this. I'm keeping my eyes out for when/ if they sell similar enough sizes in Europe. I'm also sorry that you used up a download for this model that you're not really able to use, that stinks.
