Butterfly Fridge Magnets
Instructions Hardware Filaments Butterfly Fridge Magnets - Beginner I got a lot of people commenting on my Ivy Fridge magnet that they wanted bug models to go with it. After designing a lady bug magnet, I decided to do Butterflies as well.

This Collection has 3 butterflies, a Monarch, Tiger Swallow Tail, and Blue Morpho. The butterflies were designed by looking at tons of images of real butterflies to make sure they look as realistic as possible.
We spent hours and hours modeling these and got them to a point where they looked great. BUT the we realized the wings were not shaped correctly for a butterfly at rest. So we went back to the drawing board after studying butterflies to get this design just right.
Prints-in-Place The butterflies all print in a single piece, and you press the magnet in after printing. The wings are thin enough to be flexible, but thick enough to be durable. Bend the wings up for a more natural appearance.
Double Sided These butterflies were designed using a graphic design software so they would be colored all the way through. Meaning the wings are colored on both sides! This makes them look super realistic even when looking at the bottom of the wings.

te hago una pregunta a mi la parte superior me queda fea , queda como si la boquilla arrastra el filamento ; usted tuvo el mismo problema o le imprimio bien , yo tengo una A1
Hi! if your print looks to be scratched on top it may be due to over-extrusion. I suggest checking and cleaning your nozzle for any debris or wear and running flow calibration and printer calibrations to make sure your printer is running smoothly
buen dia la parte superior te quedo perfecta o te quedo como rayada por la boquilla , pregunto porque a mi me esta pasando
They may crack a small amount when bending but you have to bend slowly. You can also use heat to soften them before bending too. You can use a warm print bed, heat gun, hairdryer, lighter, torch, stuff like that should all work, just be careful not to melt them since they're so thin.
I am a HUGE fan of your designs! Thanks for the easy instructions and beautiful work!
These are so beautiful and easy to print. I think they need dragonfly friends though:)!!!
Thank you!
I am looking for dragonflys right now, that would be great!
