This is the 3rd version of the soap holder. Unfortunately, I could not upload the design process via images, as only STL formats can be. The radiuses in the reverse 'U' shape mechanism expand and tighten round, if the tolerances are in spec. There is a elastic stretch limit, but this can be attached to a 28mm diameter tap specifically snugly. As this is a product for the 'summer' competition and it is only designed as a one-off for it’s primary purpose. The problem was that our soap holders took a lot of space up round the sink, they would also need to get cleaned often as soap residue, Minimal residue will build about due to chamfer and extrusion for it to flow through. The lengh of the arm varies the balance of this product, it also depends on the type of soap and many other factors. The beauty of this product is it’s simplicity, the more simple the better, not only for me, but the printer to reduce the material being printed, relatively fast print too. This one-off custom helps to reduce headache at my home. #summer
