Wall Mounted Dual Filament Holder - Great spool holder and what I was looking for!! Missing left side because it broke while trying to fit together but that was due to me not resetting e-steps after resetting the printer. - 3d model

I could not find the specific filament spool holder I was looking for, so I designed what I wanted. This is my first publicly shared model, so your feedback is appreciated.

Printing The printing orientation is as provided in the file. Demo was printed in PLA at .28 layer height with 3 perimeters on an Anycubic Kobra 2 Max. I also printed at 94% scale on my much smaller FlashForge Adventurer 3 and it was still large enough to hold all the various filament spools I had on hand, although there was a relatively tight fit between the rear of the spools and the wall.

Assembly While the tolerances should support push fit without the use of any adhesive, I strongly recommend using a bit of CA (or your preferred adhesive) where the pieces contact one another. There is lots of surface-to-surface contact area between parts, so the CA will create a very strong bond that will easily support 2kg+ of filament.

Installation Install the two screws either directly to a stud or using drywall anchors. If installing two or more of these beside each other, make sure to leave a gap large enough to get spools in and out of the holder!

Accessories I am working on a few accessories that attach to the hexagon pattern, so please check back for updates on those.
