This printable model is a complete working clicker featuring a cute wombat-inspired design. The body has been custom-shaped to complement the character, creating a unique clicker that's both practical and fun to print.

An optional keyring base is also included so you can keep your clicker close at hand on your keys, bag or lanyard.

Assembly

Like all of my clicker designs, this model uses a mechanical MX-style keyboard switch to create the click action.

One MX-compatible keyboard switch is required to assemble this model and is not included with this download

The clicker has been designed and tested with a range of MX-compatible keyboard switches, and the vast majority fit and operate correctly. Different switch brands provide different tactile feedback and click sounds, so you can choose the feel you prefer.

Please note: Most MX-style keyboard switches have two metal electrical contacts on the underside. These contacts must be trimmed flush or carefully folded over before installing the switch so the switch seats correctly inside the clicker body. This permanently modifies the switch, so I recommend using an inexpensive spare switch rather than one you intend to use in a keyboard.
