These idealized Chrysanthemum flowers highlight the mathematical pattern of petal distribution, or “phyllotaxis”. In these designs, consecutive petals are separated by a factor of the square root of two. Download includes three sizes of flowers, the smallest has 90 petals, the largest has 170 petals.

The models are designed for resin printing and can be printed directly on the build plate. The models are pre-hollowed with hidden holes near the base of the flower to eliminate suction during printing and allow for good drainage and washing.
