OpenSCAD Customizer OptionsThis design has the following Customizer options:
General- Material_Thickness - The minimum thickness of the material
- Pen_Hole_Diameter - Diameter of the pen hole
- Pen_Hole_Depth - Total depth of the pen hole
- Magnet_Hole_Diameter - Diameter of the magnet hole
- Magnet_Hole_Depth - Depth of the magnet hole
You also will need:
- 2x strong magnets, e.g. 10mm x 2mm neodymium magnets
To ensure the magnets fit snugly, we recommend making the Magnet_Hole_Diameter slightly smaller than the actual diameter of the magnets. You can then use a blunt implement, such as a flat screw driver, to gradually increase the size of the holes until the magnets can be inserted. To insert a magnet, simply place the magnet on a flat surface, align the magnet with a hole and apply a little downward pressure.
Alternatively, you can make the Magnet_Hole_Diameter a little larger and use some strong glue to ensure the magnets remain in place.
MaterialThis design is perfect for printing in many filaments, including PLA, PETG and ABS.
Versions- 1.0 (10 Apr 2021) - Initial version
