Porch T-Rex
In response to all the Porch Geese out there, we decided to release the Porch T-Rex! Please note that we are not responsible for any missing geese, gnomes, or other creatures! This T-Rex is split into parts and does not need to be printed with a multi-color printer. Once put together, the T-Rex stands about 15 inches tall (roughly 381mm). The arms and the hands are adjustable by pins.
We decided to add several places to add magnets (6 Total!) to the T-Rex but they are optional! We are planning on adding more projects for the T-Rex! 20x2 Magnets: -The Nose (Magnet Insert Holder which slides into the roof of the mouth) -Top of the Head (Magnet Insert Holder which slides into the Head where it splits between the head and chest) -Tongue (Pushes into the bottom of the tongue) -Chest (Slot in the split between the head and chest but on the chest side)
6x3 magnets: -Hands (Magnet Holder on the Pin inserts that connects the hands to the arms)
Tips: Most of the parts connect by pins. The eyes, bottom gums, and tongue do not have pins. There are pins built into the gums to connect the teeth. The pins are also built into the hands to connect the nails. The 3mf has the total number of each items required. We recommend PETG for outside usage. If you use magnets, remember to put them in the correct direction! You may want to glue the main parts of the T-Rex together but we recommend putting it together before you do so.
This File does need Supports! We printed most of the files with 10% gyroid infill. The arms, hands and thighs were printed with 15% gyroid infill.
Our Porch T-Rex was done in Polymaker! We used PETG for the main dino! Other items were printed in Polylite PLA. Check out the links before for more information on Polymaker!
