Inspired by the #JuneTunes Contest, we designed the ultimate playable electronic display guitar. This is a modular design that was created to print on most printers with an option of a backlit face. To make the guitar actually play, you will need a guitar kit that includes the electronics.
Here are the Details: We based our guitar off of the Stratocaster style but in the future may add other caster styles. The "tops" can be customized to add any design you would like. We have included in the files the blank you would need for each section.
Printing: Two of the base models - Number 5 and 8 requires supports. The rest is easy printing at your preferred settings. The Tops may need up to a one percent reduction on the x and y axis depending on your printer.
Assembly:
All of the base plates connect together using pins that will allow easy assembly and gluing. Some of the pins are open to allow wiring and LED strip lighting.
The tops of the bases will be needed to be glued.
