**Required Hardware**

**Assembly**
Harnessing the power of magnets for its operation, this fun and satisfying fidget toy features a button that creates a pleasing click sound when pressed down and released, outperforming similar items that use springs.  

The magnet holes are designed to hold the magnets with a press fit. However, depending upon your printer tuning, the use of glue may be necessary for securing the magnets, or a tool to push them into their designated holes. 

Make sure the magnets are oriented to attract each other when assembling the switch, ensuring the flawless functionality of your fidget toy. A test run is recommended before the final glue application to prevent the switch from sticking in the down position. Some sanding around the hinge of the switch might be necessary during this trial phase to guarantee smooth movement.

The finishing touch involves placing a dab of glue inside the remaining smaller holes, creating a stable base by holding the Case Lid onto the Case until it cures. 

The result is a robust, irresistible fidget toy, unique in its magnetic attraction feature, suitable both as a practical stress-reliever and an engaging addition to your collection of 3D printed toys and games. Instead of using threads to fasten the egg together, this model uses magnets!
This makes it easier to align the colors of the top and bottom when using multi-color filaments and is so satisfying to open and close!

All you need are magnets that are 6mm x 3mm. You may need to glue them in. I designed it to be a "loose press fit" for the magnets, which means, depending on your printer's configuration, it could be fine being press fit in, but if your printer is extremely precise, you'll probably need to glue them in. Just make sure the magnets are oriented properly so you don't get them repelling each other.

It's recommended that your printer be well tuned to ensure pieces fit comfortably. Tolerances are set to 0.3mm. This puts the fitment somewhere between snug and loose in order to accommodate the wide variety of printers out there and their tuned states.

If you happen to have clearance issues, you can always scale the model up in order to loosen up the tolerances necessary for pieces to fit together properly.

There's a reason I call this one "The Brick". If you've ever found yourself needing a way to handle all your tokens and cards in a small form factor, then this is the solution for you!

No supports needed!
Print-in-place!

These models, in particular, have tight tolerances, so you'll need to ensure your 3D printer is tuned well for for a level bed, z-offset, flow rate, input shaping, and pressure advance so moving parts don't bind.

I've optimized the designs to print in PLA. As a result, the springs may be a little stiff for the cards, but will deform within 24 hours making it easier to push the cards out. However, printing in PETG will still result in a good fit for the cards.

I'm still fiddling with the design of the internal springs, so if you're still having trouble with the model let me know and I'll make changes and upload new models for you to try.

RSA Token Badge Case

Both the RSA Badge Case and Plain Badge Case feature a spring to push out the third card while the other two slots are occupied. The RSA badge holder accommodates an RSA token in addition to 3 cards!

The plain badge case does not require supports. The RSA Badge Case model does, but only in one spot (Refer to the images).

Both models should be oriented in the way they were intended to be printed.

And so these Connect-it Tiles were born. They take more time to assemble than magnet tiles, but they don't fall apart if you accidently drop your creation!

When placing the magnets, ensure the magnets placed in a way where they attract each other when the tray is attached to the pot.

I've designed the magnets to be a “loose” press fit. Due to the wide variety of printers out there and the various states of tune the printers are in, I didn't want to make the tolerance too tight and make it difficult for those who haven't tuned their printers well enough. So, if your printer is well tuned, you may need to use glue to fasten the magnets.
