Hanging Monkey Planter

Celebrate the return of springtime with this adorable hanging planter. It can be printed as a single piece or a three piece version is included to achieve a larger planter bowl.

The model can easily be scaled in your slicer. The default size yields a planter that is roughly 140mm in diameter and about 85 mm deep.

The three piece version includes keys/keyways in the model to help align the pieces during gluing and to strengthen the print. Four keys will need to be printed. Additionally, the keys are modeled with a clearance allowance of 0.15 mm on all sides. If you setup requires more clearance, you can scale the keys down a bit in your slicer.

The print pictured is the three piece version and was printed in PETG using an 0.4mm nozzle with a layer height of 0.16mm. Sanding, filling and painting was used to achieve the final result.
