Tamiya Hornet Chassis Cage
The Tamiya Hornet chassis was intended to have the hard plastic Grasshopper body screwed down to it in order to stiffen it and prevent stresses at the bottom of the front spring towers. The Lexan hornet body provides no structure and as a result, the area around the servo horn cutout and root of the towers stresses are breaks, or well they used to. The AMPro cage is a structural part of the chassis that braces the front of the chassis all the way to the transmission, significantly stiffening the chassis and looking just awesome.
Option 1 has rigid mounts for the rear wing (AMPro Wing Shown but any can be used) and requires cutting off the stock wing mounts from the body
Option 2 will allow the stock rear body mounted wing to work
Option 3 is just for the AMPro wing
Please see the video prior to purchase.
