https://youtu.be/4zj476n1lzE Having trouble getting your printablok creations to keep it together? Me too. So I created a connector that holds tighter. These tighter connectors were designed to be used in places where a single connection will be holding a lot of weight, like the shoulders or hip joints. They are a little more pointy and wider than regular connectors and are actually wider than the holes and so may need a little extra effort to get them in place, but once in place they remain in tension the whole time and will thus hold better.
The middle part of the tighter connector is just so you can tell the difference between them and regulars connectors at a glance.
Many low end 3D printers don't need the tighter connectors. I've found on my Prusas and Bambu that the holes tend to print a little looser than on the Enders, so for the higher end printers, these tighter connectors, used judiciously, will help keep things together.
It is recommended you print the tighter connecters (if not all connectors) in a material that doesn't deform as much under constant tension, like the PETG.
