Design & Concept: I designed the Relief vase to explore the power of repeating geometric patterns and tactile depth. The surface is composed of a complex grid of interlocking pyramids that catch the light from every angle, creating a dynamic rhythm of highlights and shadows. The cylindrical form provides a clean, stable silhouette that contrasts beautifully with the sharp, precise edges of the relief pattern. To achieve the sophisticated look shown in the photos, I recommend using a filament with a subtle metallic or stone finish, which emphasizes the architectural quality of the design and turns it into a true gallery-worthy sculpture.

Printing Recommendations: Material: Gold or Bronze Matte PLA (as shown) is perfect for highlighting the geometric edges. Marble or Stone PLA also works beautifully for a more classical feel. Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm is ideal for capturing the crisp points of the relief pattern. Infill: 10–15% Gyroid. Walls: 3 Walls for structural integrity and a high-end, solid feel. Supports: To ensure the best results, I have included a pre-configured .3mf file with custom support blockers and enforcers. I highly recommend using this file, as the only necessary supports are the ones already placed and optimized within the project to guarantee a clean finish with minimal material waste.
