This is the Modular Vase of the Moduluma Lamp Ecosystem!

The Moduluma Ecosystem is a modular lamp system where every part — vases, shades, inlays, and leaf elements — can be combined to create your own unique lamp design. With interchangeable elements, you can explore many variations while keeping the build simple and tool-free.

The Modular Vase is the core of the system: a versatile base designed to accept interchangeable inlays and secure lampshades via press-fit clips. It supports multiple fixture options while providing a clean connection point for the rest of your build.

How to Print: Print the plate as it is. Take care when printing the inserts — make sure you print the correct insert files for Modular Vase (do not use the inserts for Modular Vase Big). Choose the lamp fixture variant you need: there are separate print plates for E14, E27, and Bambu Lab LED Kit.

How to Build Your Lamp: Print all the parts you need for your build:

1x Modular Vase + Clips 4x Each Insert for the Modular Vase (if using an inlay-compatible vase) 1x Lampshade of your choice 54x Leafs for modular lampshades (if using a modular shade)

Then assemble the lamp as follows:

Prepare the Vase: Press-fit the inserts into the Modular Vase. Note: many inlay parts are mirrored — insert them all the same way (either with the print-plate side facing out or facing in) so the pattern aligns correctly.

Add the Clips: Press-fit the clips into the top side of the vase; these clips will later secure the lampshade.

Insert the Fixture: Install your chosen lamp fixture (E14, E27, or the Bambu Lab LED Kit) into the vase according to the fixture instructions.

Build the Shade: For modular shades, press-fit the bottom clip through the bottom ring into the first spline, then press the top clip through the top ring into the first spline. Alternate between even and odd splines around the shade until complete. Then press-fit any decorative leaf elements into their slots — it’s easiest to press leaf pieces downward, so orient the shade accordingly.

Connect Shade and Vase: Position the assembled shade above the vase and press it onto the clips. Work around the lamp and press in stages if the fit is tight to avoid slipping or damage.

Finish: Route the cable into the bottom slot of the vase and secure as needed. Your Modular Vase build is complete.
