Sup bros and brahs! Need a way to chill that bevvy? I have a totally rad solution for you!

A single can cooler with a retro twist! This 3D printed travel cooler will make you da bomb at any gathering!

**Print Settings**
The Body, Insulation, and Handle detail can be printed without supports. I printed them out at 20% infill with 4 perimeters/shells and it felt rigid.

The Handle needs to be printed upside down with supports (everywhere option). I printed this at 20% infill as well.

**Assembly**
1. The Insulation slides into the Body and is pressure fit together, use super glue if needed.

2. The Handle detail fits into the indent on top of the handle. It will need to be super glued in. You can use a binder clip through the hole in the handle to keep the parts together while gluing. 

3. Once the glue dries you can move onto the next step.

4. Slide the Handle assembly over the Body assembly. The left and right points of the handle will slide over the embossment on the sides of the body. They should automatically press into place when they are positioned right.

Three sizes of “Ice Bubbles” designed for spiralized printing to maximize translucency and minimize material and print time. These are great prints for your clear or translucent filaments!

Files are provided for 30mm, 40mm, and 50mm diameter balls. You will need to print two pieces to make one ball. When printed with a 0.5mm nozzle, the balls require 3g, 5.4g, 8.4g of filament. That means 1kg of filament you could make approximately 333 small Ice Balls!

Here are some recommendations for spiralized printing:
- Use thick layer heights, 0.2mm or greater
- Set your “Bottom Layer” to 1
- Try using a skirt for bed adhesion, but if that is not working then try a brim. You will just have to remove the brim afterwards
- If you get funny stringing on the top layer, try moving the z-seam alignment around

**Print Settings**
The Body, and Insulation can be printed without supports. I printed them out at 20% infill with 4 perimeters/shells and it felt rigid.

The Handle needs to be printed flat with supports on the snap detail. I printed this at 20% infill as well.

The Lid can be printed with the top laying down on the print bed but may need supports on the edges. I printed this at 20% infill as well.

**Assembly**

The Insulation slides into the Body and is pressure fit together, use super glue if needed.

The Handles can snap into the Body after they are cleaned of supports. Make sure that the handles fit together to form an "A-frame" at the center before snapping them in.

The lid will pressure fit into the cooler.

The bowls are printed upside down. I recommend raising the model 3mm off the build plate and building supports up into the cavity of the bowl.

In order to maximize optical clarity and visual effect, you will want to minimize the amount of infill. These are excellent prints to try out the “lightening infill” feature in Cura. “Lightening infill” minimizes the amount of infill material used, and also creates interesting “crack” silhouettes in the finished print.

Increase the infill density and reduce the angle of overhang that gets supported, aiming for adequate support at the base of the icicle, but minimal support up inside the icicles. Be sure to do a layer-by-layer inspection prior to printing to ensure that all areas are properly supported.

These icicle ornaments are the perfect project for your translucent filament. They are designed to be printed in in “vase” or “spiralize” mode to save on time and materials and to achieve the best optical clarity.

Thread a wire or knotted loop of string through the hole in the “cap” and twist the cap on to the icicle.

File name indicates approximate length of each icicle.

Print the “Cap” in your standard printing mode. There are three version of the cap with increasing tightness. “Cap 1” is tight, “Cap 3” is looser. Depending on your hardware and materials you may find that one works better than the others.
