I printed this without supports at .1mm layer height using [Protopasta iron composite PLA filament](http://amzn.to/2iwvRqm) and then I applied a rusting solution.

Marmalade Reef

I wanted to print something complex to torture test my printers so I sculpted this reef in VR using Gravity Sketch!

It should be able to print without supports, but I would recommend a higher than normal z-hop or vertical retraction (maybe 1mm) during travel moves, since the tallest corals are at risk of being knocked over.

Feel free to scale as desired!

A facetted dead tree.. well, it's plastic so it was never alive, right? Anyways... scale as desired and hopefully you've got your retraction well tuned or there will be strings galore! It makes a nice prop for your tabletop games or a jewelry holder.

'Grow' was sculpted in virtual reality using an application called Gravity Sketch, which accurately captures my gestures as three-dimensional brushstrokes. I feel this brings a human sensitivity into 3D modeling, which is often more technical than it is visceral.

Use standard print settings. Scale as desired.
