Work Space Challenge: Sand Castle Kit

Summer, to me, always meant trips to the beach! So I decided to recreate one of my favorite beach activities... building sand castles! 

This mini sand castle kit comes with every thing you need (sand not included) to build your very own (mini) sand castle! The box acts as a sifter so you can find those decorative shells! The lid is your main castle mold that even includes village houses! Don't forget your walls and turrets that are also included! Then comes the mighty shovel to gather sand for all the molds!

**Print Settings**
I printed the main box at .2mm layer height, 15% infill, and no supports. I printed the handle at .2mm layer height, 25% infill, and supports on the connection points. The wall and turret print upside down with no infill and no supports. Finally, the lid I printed at .2mm layer height, 15% infill, and supports for the castle.

Testlement

Testlements are small, simple test prints that are great for showing off your filament collection. (Named after their likeness to battlements and being test prints) Testlements are designed to use only a few grams of filament, making them economical and eco-friendly. They are also easy to print, requiring no supports or rafts. You can print Testlements in different sizes, colors, and materials, mix and match them, and even pop them together in groups (as shown in pics).

Thinking back on "outdoor fun" I was reminded of the fun, challenge, and sometimes frustration of building sand castles.

And of course it's important to stay hydrated whilst having fun! But it's not fun to get sand in your drink ; )

Small Castle

My daughter wanted a castle for her small stuffed animals so I threw this together. It could be used for hermit crabs or other small animals, or taken and remixed into something great.
