Files for this basketball and hoop set are provided for standard and multicolour printing. Print all files as oriented, no supports needed. 

The backboard has holes for hooks or magnets (1/4”x1/8” or 6mmx3mm neodymium). The line on the backboard is raised slightly in the standard print version to allow for a filament swap to make the line a different colour.

The halves of the balls are designed to be tight the first few times they snap together. To make them easier to snap together and apart simply file off a bit of the contact surfaces. For single colour prints you can colour the seam with a marker.

Are they eggs? Or balls? Doesn’t really matter. They can hold chocolate.

Files are provided in “snug” and “loose” versions. The “loose” versions slip together easily and can be opened by little fingers. The “snug” versions stay in place better but require as bit more force to open. 

The best way to print these is as oriented, with the model raised off the build plate 3mm and tree supports underneath. You will likely need to smooth the surfaces. If they are too tight, snapping them together and apart a few times will loosen it up.

Colour the lines with a marker or oil-based paint pen.

Edilgen Blocks are originally designed to make furnitures like desk, stool, shelf, bench, organizer etc.

However, you can use them to make anything you can think of. Other ideas I had were: Pen holder, toilet paper holder, plant holder, toothbrush holder, baby cart for fun! Yes, Edilgen Blocks have "the Wheel" compatible with other blocks.

Downloadable 3D models are human size, like you can make yourself a desk with them.

1:2 or 1:3 scales are the best to make toys for kids, 1:3 size is tested for full functionality with no issue but smaller scales might not work properly.

The 4x3 desk sizes are: 88x66x75 cm and weights around 5 kg

I used default printer settings (infill 15% gives enough strength)

***For Half ball make infill 1% and wall loops can stay at 2 for the max Weight/Strength ratio

Remixed the top to allow a screw in topper attachment. There is also a channel for water to escape the hole if a topper is left off.

4 sizes available: 75mm (3 in), 100mm (4 in), 125mm (5 in), and 150mm (6 in). This is the size of the ball not the overall size including the screw. The screw adds 10mm to the Z height.
Printed with .2mm layers.
Support are needed for the ball topper, just the bottom.
For the ball topper I suggest 3 walls and 10 % infill if using a .4mm nozzle. Make the top and bottom to match the wall thickness too.

Introducing the mesmerizing Hybrid Basketball Lamp, inspired by the beauty of our celestial neighbor. With its versatile design, you have the option to either screw the legs out and hang it from the ceiling or use the convenient leg holder to keep them safe when not in use.

Print Settings:
To create this, you only need to print the numbered files. The additional files are included in case you require separate prints. When printing the Basketball model, use a 0.4 mm nozzle or set a line height of 0.2 mm and a width of 0.4 mm. The domes can be challenging to print, but I recommend slowing down the layers at the top to 50% print speed (around layer 670). Achieve optimal strength by using 100% infill with concentric infill, or you can set your wall count to a higher value, such as 40. Basic white PLA works perfectly; I used Sunlu White PLA+ for my model. Avoid matte or glitter filaments as they may not produce the desired effect. No supports are required for printing.

For the legs and plate, no supports are needed. For a visually appealing result, try positioning the seam on the inside of the legs. Feel free to choose any color that suits your taste.

Hybrid Hanging/Desk Basketball Lamp

This is a coaster with a basket ball shape to allow you have a drink during the matches of your favorite team without dirtying the table
It's a simple design with a ball in the middle of the coaster. It have a coaster holder that allows you to put up to 7 coasters.

It's designed to print with a filament color change. If you print it at 0.2mm height you must change color at layer 10. I recommend using orange color as the base and black for the top but you can use whatever you want.

I'm excited to present you with my Basketball Desk Lamp.

Here's what you'll need to assemble this lamp: a lamp socket and a bulb. I personally prefer a multicolored LED bulb, but the choice is yours. Please note, however, that the components are compatible only with a specific Lamp Socket available on eBay.

On to the print settings:
For this project, you only need to print the files which are numerically labelled.

Basketball: Opt for a 0.4 mm nozzle. Alternatively, set your print to a line height of 0.2 mm and a width of 0.4 mm. Be aware that the domes can be challenging to print. I recommend reducing the print speed to 50% when you reach layer 670. Use 100% infill with concentric infill, or adjust your wall count to a high figure, such as 40. Holder: Unlike the Basketball part, you'll need to print the holder with supports.
