Introducing: the storage tile! Hextraction board compatible, stackable, holds 42+ balls (holding closed upside down with a shake) and even latches closed with a satisfying click sound! After four iterations and extensive testing, this tile is ready for your hextraction game with no non-printed parts or glue required and a simple push to assemble!
- PRINTING - All models are scaled up 10x. Print either the stackable or regular lid, and one tile for each box. The regular lids are much easier to print with the flat side down, while the stackable lids require supports. I recommend printing these with the hinge and latch facing up to ensure they have consistent quality.
Print the lids with unique colors for each player! (Or don't, you don't have to).
Thanks and have fun!

What with the "automotive" tags?
Note: Printing with PETG results in a latch too weak to hold the box shut upside-down.
With the most recent lid version, I made the latches slightly longer because before they wouldn't always reach far enough to actually close properly. This might fix your issue, but I printed all of my boxes in PLA so I'm not certain. Thanks for testing with PETG regardless!
