DeWalt Miter Saw vac port that will connect to most house vacuum hoses, and the smaller popular Ridgid "car kit" hose.
Will likely work with more DeWalt miter saws than the DWS779 I have, but YMMV.
This thread works with many (most?) household vacuum hoses. I harvested an old Eureka hose (the black one pictured), an ancient whole house vac hose, in addition to the Ridgid shop vac “car kit” hose, and it seems to work well for all of them. It will fit almost any vac hose with a 1⅝" outer diameter (41–42mm).
