3 years later, the Octopus has grown!

Print in place with no support and no assembly required.

Available both with smooth and textured skin. Includes also replaceable tentacles, no need to throw away failed prints! Check the tutorial video.

Check here the timelapse and post-printing video.

DISCLAIMER: This print requires very good bed adhesion for the suckers to stay in place. I recommend disabling any “elephant foot” compensation on the slicer. For more tips, take a look at my printing tips.

UPDATE!!: New version with separate eyes added. I've included also single tentacles to use as keychain.

Great print! Used a 5mm brim for bed adhesion. Took a little bit of work to remove it from between all the suction pads, but it wasn't terrible and I'm happy with the results.
Almost literally, I found these in the 'wild' yesterday at a local exotic pet store.
After 2 failed attempts. I field-stripped my printer, added new grease, and scrubbed the plates with soap and water hard. I got two very nice prints :). FYI. The DEVs Printing Tips are amazing!

My kids broke one of the legs already...smh. How do you attach the repair tentacle?

Can a brim be used to improve bed adhesion for this model?

I ended up printing this with a 5mm brim. Took a little bit of work to remove all of it from between the suction pads, but it wasn't terrible and I'm very happy with the results.
