I'd suggest to use the normal mode, because the walls are pretty thin already and the heart will print correctly, even without any fill I suppose
Not sure what slicer you're using but I can't get this to properly slice in Prusa slicer. (v2.50 or the current 2.6a3) In vase mode, the issue is the center/top of the heart. The model has that part protrude into the "cup" part and the slicer loses a layer there.
