I recently ran the Amber Temple for my players and needed some Amber Sarcophogi (Sarcophoguses? Sarcophogeeses?? idk) - there are a few others floating around but I wanted to make my own so this is what I whipped together relatively quickly in blender.
These were printed in red PLA but initially I was planning on resin printing them either will work and they are relatively low support models. If I get my resin printer working again I will include a tested pre-supported file but for now the STL are as-is.
I've printed the original 2x version but added 1x versions and a plain variant for people who don't want the skull and cracks. These are sized so that they should fit an LED tealight - I popped the cover off so that they light shines through a bit better. Overall I think these turned out pretty great.
My recommendation for FDM printing is to see if you can do them supportlessly - on my printer using critical supports only ends up with no supports. You could do minimal internal supports and shouldn't have any issues too. For resin my plan was to print it upside down but that would require a lot of sanding and creates a bit of a suction / resin trap. I think tilting them back slightly should work really nicely and over that and support scarring internally won't matter.
