An angular boulder with impact craters — a small moon rock that happens to hold a plant. Where the trough and the round boulder in my lava series stay close to the ground, this one is a chunk: faceted, lopsided, deliberately irregular, like something that broke off and landed in your garden.

The craters are blind recesses of different sizes, so the surface catches light the way pumice does. It reads best in matte black, where the whole effect comes from shadow, not paint. One filament, one color.

Prints in matte black PLA on a flat, stable base, with seven drainage holes in the floor. The planting well is wide and takes a serious cactus or a small succulent scene. The photo shows my own print the day it was planted. Print the STL in any slicer; the 3MF is the Bambu Studio project.
