Tall Lava Drop Planter — Cratered Teardrop Pot
A tall teardrop covered in craters — the vertical piece in my lava-rock series. The low boulders and the trough sit close to the table; this one gives a trailing plant some height to fall from, or lifts a single cactus up where you actually see it.
The craters are blind recesses in many sizes, scattered the way bubbles freeze into cooling lava — never in rows. Under a lamp the whole surface turns into small shadows. One filament, matte black; the form does the work, not the color.
Prints in matte black PLA on a flat, stable base, with eleven drainage holes in the floor. Narrow foot, wide shoulder, generous planting well at the top. Print the STL in any slicer; the 3MF is the Bambu Studio project.
