Lace Bowl Planter — Floral Relief Succulent Pot
A squat round bowl wrapped all the way around in raised floral lace — roses, scrolls and leaves in relief, the way Battenberg tape lace loops and joins. I wanted a pot that reads as a piece of lacework you could actually plant in, not a smooth pot with a pattern stamped on it.
Prints in a single warm cream PLA. The lace read is all relief and shadow — raised tape and flowers catching the light — so there's nothing to paint; the flat color does the honest work.
A separate inner cup drops into the decorated bowl and holds the soil and water, so the lace outside stays a clean pattern and the roots stay contained. Flat, stable base, drainage in the inner-cup floor, and a wide open mouth for a small succulent or cactus. Indoor pot.
