The Batman 1989 cowl - 1:1 scale display piece
Okay, this one might come as a bit of a surprise, but I've been planning to make this one for ages!
In case you were wondering... yes, this is a full 1:1 scale display cowl based on the 1989 Tim Burton Batman. And yes... this thing is HUUUUUGE !
I've also added a little experimental feature. I created a detailed textured version that you can actually 3D print like in many of my prints before. However, since the cowl is so massive, we need to split it into multiple parts, so I'm not sure how well the seams will disappear (if at all), which is why I'm calling it experimental for now.
To recap, the project includes:
A full smooth version.
A full textured version.
Both versions already split into smaller parts.
4 mm wall thickness throughout the pieces (most of them) for those of you who want to experiment with printing it in TPU or other flexible filaments as well save on weight and filament on such huge print.
A fully closed version as well, for anyone planning to make a mold and cast the cowl in flexible materials later on.
As you'll notice, there are lots of different options included. And if there's something else you'd like to see, just let me know! For example, if you guys plan to print like mid sized collectibles I can also make that but let me know if you want it so i can gather interest :)
